Who am I?
I started running around 2013 and quickly fell in love with it as a way to reconnect with my body, work through difficult emotions, and just have fun outside! My first race in 2018 was the Bizz Johnson 50k.The bug quickly took hold and I’ve raced or set records at 50 mile, 100k, 100 mile, and 200+ miles!
I am grateful to my own coaches for giving me the training and experience to perform well at these events (highlights: Divide 200 1st place, Leona Divide 100k, 1st place/course record, Backbone trail out and back FKT, Foothills Trail FKT)
Inspiring and helping others excites me, so it was natural for me to get my UESCA certification and become an ultrarunning coach! I can't wait to be part of your journey!
What is To Be Running?
To be Running is based on the motto of my home state North Carolina, "esse quam videri" or
To Be, Rather than to Seem. Authenticity is important to me in life and running.
